Multiple reports have emerged that Brent Pry is looking to add Wisconsin associate head coach/OL coach Joe Rudolph to his first Virginia Tech staff as OL coach and run game coordinator according to Football Scoop.
Joe Rudolph played at UW and has been an assistant with the Badgers for a total of 11 seasons -- from 2008-2011 and from 2015 through this season.

The Joe Rudolph to Virginia Tech rumors have taken off in recent days with myself hearing from a couple sources confirming Tech's pursuit of Rudolph which has growing momentum.
Rudolph would be an absolute home run hire as he has continued Wisconsin's strong offensive line tradition with eight First and Second Team All-Americans among six players during his tenure since 2015 plus the Rimington Trophy award winner for the best center in America in Tyler Biadasz in 2019.
Additionally, Rudolph is a tremendous recruiter who has landed some elite offensive line recruits both at Wisconsin and during his time at Pittsburgh, adapting to the local territory each time to do so.
Landing Rudolph would be a tremendous coup for Brent Pry's first staff and give reported offensive coordinator Tyler Bowen another veteran coach alongside Brad Glenn to lean on some as a first time lead offensive coordinator at the Power 5 level. Additionally, Rudolph could truly build Virginia Tech into an offensive line powerhouse that has started to take off with guys like Wyatt Teller and Christian Darrisaw in recent years.
We will have more as this story develops.
