After Virginia Tech's 24-17 loss to Purdue, one of the biggest points of discussion came at quarterback after Grant Wells struggled with consistency going 16-33 with 243 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 interceptions while Kyron Drones came in unexpectedly for Tech's final possession in a 2-minute drive situation. That left lots of questions starting with why Pry made the call to make a late switch from Wells to Drones.
Pry said that discussions about bringing in Drones happened prior to the last offensive drive, but that some other factors led to the switch coming when it did.
Ugh. No. Pick one and go all in (Drones).
