Virginia Tech is building out their backcourt for the 2023 class landing their second commitment of this cycle from three-star SG Jaydon Young out of Greensboro, NC.

Young chose the Hokies over offers from Texas A&M, South Florida, Old Dominion, UNC Greensboro, Charlotte, East Tennessee State, JMU, Appalachian State, Siena, Winthrop, High Point, Elon, North Carolina A&T, Western Carolina, and Boston University.
He joins three-star PG Brandon Rechsteiner as Tech's 2023 backcourt has largely, if not fully, come together for the 2023 class though Tech still has some other guards including four-star PG Trey Green that they are interested in. The focus likely also shifts even more onto the frontcourt including Washington D.C. standout Amani Hansberry who is a consensus top 150 recruit nationally.
We will have more as this story develops.
