With the news that Penn State DC Brent Pry is expected to be the next head coach at Virginia Tech, there are already plenty of reactions coming in including from current commits and top recruiting targets for Virginia Tech.

So far, the reaction has been quite positive with lots of strong impressions and recruit excited to build a new or stronger relationship with Pry. Here's a rundown of some of the reactions we've received.

4* OT Gunner Givens (VT Commit)

"When I was up at Penn State and seen him he seemed like genuine guy and I know he’s a Tech dude. I think it’ll be a good thing, need to start building a relationship with him," Givens said.

3* TE Harrison Saint Germain (VT Commit)

"I was excited to hear about it. It’s been a long time and there’s been many rumors going around, but to finally have someone locked in, it feels good! I know he has some history with the Tech program and he embodies the culture so I’m eager to see what he’ll bring to the table," Saint Germain said.

3* OT Jakson LaHue (VT Commit)

"I think from what I’ve seen he’s a very smart and intelligent guy but also just seems like he has the kind of genuineness that Fuente had to him," LaHue said.

4* TE/DE Benji Gosnell (Top VT Target)

"I like it. Coach Pry has ties to VA and he’d be a great asset to help recruiting in the home state. Also very sharp mind especially on the defensive side of the ball," Gosnell said.

We will have more as this story develops.
