Virginia Tech has extended their fair share of offers recently including one to three-star OL Steven Nahmias that made a dent on his recruitment.
Nahmias told us that he was "very excited" about receiving an offer from Virginia Tech that he was "not expecting". He received the news during a phone conversation with OL coach Vance Vice that went well as a whole as Nahmias shared with us.
"It was a great conversation! It was really cool to hear about the program and get to know Coach Vice better," Nahmias said.
Nahmias also added this about the impact this Virginia Tech offer has on his recruitment.
"VT is definitely a school that I am interested in learning more about and am definitely considering!" Nahmias said.
Beyond that, Nahmias told us that Virginia Tech is among the group of schools that are currently standing out for him along with Nebraska, Georgia Tech, Duke, and Wake Forest. He had this to say about why that's the case.
"What’s standing out to me the most is that VT is a great school and has a very successful football program as well as having great traditions, and a cool city and fanbase," Nahmias said.
The offer was a first contact point for the Hokies in their recruitment of Nahmias who told us that Nebraska and Duke are the schools that are currently recruiting him the hardest.
Even with numbers being tight across the country, Virginia Tech is likely to try to take a large offensive line group this cycle. The good news for the Hokies is that they are already in a strong position with three-star OL Steven Nahmias.
