After back-to-back weeks on the road, Virginia Tech is back home for the only time in October to take on Miami in a rivalry game that sadly won't be played again till 2025 due to the ACC not protecting this game.
Regardless, the visit list for this weekend looks pretty solid for the Hokies.
On the 2023 front, a trio of recent offers will be on campus in breakout Richmond ATH Aziah Johnson, former Minnesota WR commit Tyler Brown who got an offer from the Hokies hours after decommitting, and fast-rising three-star WR Chance Fitzgerald out of Tennessee.
Adding wide receiver talent has been a priority and Tech clearly is looking for at least 1-2 more out of the high school ranks this cycle. Tech commit Dante Lovett also will be on campus and could be a valuable in many ways this weekend for the Hokies.
The future classes also have plenty of talent headlined by two of the top VA recruits for the 2024 class: four-star OT Fletcher Westphal and four-star WR Keylen Adams. Westphal and Adams are probably 2 of the top 5-10 overall targets for the Hokies in the 2024 cycle with Tech having great success this year at getting them on campus. Three-star OL Mason Wade appears to be a priority OL target for the Hokies in 2024 while recent 2025 RB offer Jeff Overton from Northern Virginia will also be on campus as publicly reported by Evan Watkins of VT Scoop.
