The 6’8” forward appeared in 16 games for the Hokies this season.
Serven played at Eastern Michigan in 2023-24 where he averaged 3.3 points, and 3.1 rebounds per game in 31 games.…
Serven enters the portal with one year of eligibility remaining after arriving from Eastern Michigan this past offseason. He played in 16 games this past season and was mostly a depth piece for the Hokies, averaging 0.3 points and 0.6 rebounds in 2.6 minutes per game.
He is the sixth Hokie to enter the transfer portal along with PG Brandon Rechsteiner, SG Jaydon Young (who has since committed to High Point), SG Rodney Brown Jr, F/C Ryan Jones Jr, and C Patrick Wessler.
With Serven’s departure, the Hokies now have eight players on their 2025-26 roster and seven open scholarship spots.
