The New Year's Day game between Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh has been postponed due to the Hokies still being in COVID protocols.
Hang in there, everyone. We'll be back soon 🤞

This is the second game that Tech has had postponed due to COVID protocols after their game at North Carolina, originally scheduled for December 29th, was postponed as well.
The ACC did announce rule changes regarding COVID protocols earlier this week after the CDC released updated guidance regarding isolation for COVID cases. The updates have brought plenty of optimism that Virginia Tech will be able to return to action on January 4th when the Hokies are scheduled to host N.C. State.
If that game is unable to happen, the Hokies' next game is currently scheduled to be a trip to Virginia on January 12th though it is possible that one of those other games could be rescheduled in the gap between the 4th and the 12th.
We will have more as this story develops.
