On Monday, LHP Brody Roe announced via his Instagram that he was transferring to Virginia Tech after spending a year at Kansas State.
The #Hokies landed another commit per his instagram. That is Kansas State LHP Brody Roe.

The 6'3 lefty is now the seventh addition of the 2025 Virginia Tech portal class. He joins Saint Joseph's INF Owen Petrich, George Washington OF Sam Gates, Belmont INF Pete Daniel, Xavier SP Ben Weber, Texas A&M P Peyton Smith, and Mount St. Mary's INF Sam Grube.
Roe is entering his fourth year of college baseball. He spent two years at Murray State College (No, not the Racers. A JUCO school) before spending the 2025 year at Kansas State. He has a career ERA of 5.13 with 127 strikeouts in 124 2/3 innings.
Roe started a lot of games at Murray State College, but I don't envision him being a starter for the 2026 team. Roe brings a relief option from the left side, which the Hokies didn't have much of as of now for the 2026 team.
Roe offers a three pitch mix from the left side, throwing a fastball that sits in the low 90's to high 80's. He pairs that with a changeup and slider that sit in the mid 80's.
