The Penn State to Virginia Tech wave has continued Sunday as the Hokies landed a commitment from Penn State transfer OL Michael Troutman III.
He is the 17th transfer addition for the Hokies including the sixth from the Nittany Lions along with DL Daniel Jennings, TE Matt Henderson, LB Keon Wylie, WR Jeff Exinor Jr, and expected QB addition Ethan Grunkemeyer. He is also the third offensive line addition along with Oklahoma OT Logan Howland and Michigan State OT Justin Bell.
Troutman redshirted this past season and will have four seasons of eligibility remaining.
