Virginia Tech picked up another commitment from a Penn State edge rusher in Mylachi Williams.
The redshirt freshman appeared in four games for the Nittany Lions, recording one tackle. Williams will have three years of eligibility left.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pound DE was a four-star prospect coming out of high school as a Philadelphia, PA, native. He garnered offers from Michigan, Georgia, Notre Dame, and other Power 4 programs.
Williams joins seven of his teammates in following James Franklin from Penn State to Virginia Tech, including DL Daniel Jennings, TE Matt Henderson, QB Ethan Grunkenmeyer, WR Jeff Exinor Jr., OL Michael Troutman III, and DL Cortez Harris.
Virginia Tech has seemingly prioritized the defensive line through the transfer portal, as Williams is the fifth defensive end to commit to Tech, following Penn State's Jennings and Harris, Missouri's Javion Hilson, and Baylor's Kamauryn Morgan.
