James Franklin continues to plunder Penn State with the commitment from edge rusher Cortez Harris.
The Upper Marlboro, Md., native played in just two games for the Nittany Lions this season, allowing him to redshirt.
Coming out of high school, Cortez Harris was a three-star prospect and top-15 player in the state of Maryland. His offers included Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Virginia Tech, and many other Power 4 teams.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Cortez Harris is the fourth defensive end transfer, joining Penn State Daniel Jennings, Missouri Javion Hilson, and Baylor Kamauryn Morgan. He is the latest in a slew of multiple Penn State transfers to come to Blacksburg, including Jennings, TE Matt Henderson, QB Ethan Grunkenmeyer, WR Jeff Exinor Jr., LB Keon Wylie, OL Michael Troutman III, and DL Mylachi Williams.
Cortez Harris will have four years of eligibility left.
